To put it right out there, we have to hand it to all those who have done more than their share of Saving the human population from the Nuevo Coronavirus. The first responders, the medical staff we do depend on , the military that’s on duty, the grocery store clerks who never get enough praise to begin with (if you’ve ever done that job) and even those who are just listing themselves on an app to help their neighbors get needed supplies when they can’t leave the house…lest I forget those who are tirelessly making masks… Ruth, you are truly amazing, spending endless hours deep into the evening to try to do your part in keeping others safe!

But for one day, we needed to take a break from reality, as surreal as it is, and head out to the desert near our home base and trade the craziness for a bit of the nature we love. While the desert regions we wanted to camp out in were actually being guarded by rangers, ready to hand out tickets (we get it guys, don’t worry), we were still able to enjoy a bit of spring beauty along the way…
